So, I tried a new recipe for dinner tonight. It was really quick and easy, and it turned out really tastey! Paul asked, "Why are you taking pictures of it?" And I told him, if it is good, I'm gonna share it. I fixed my plate first and had started eating when he sat down and said, "Well, is it share worthy?" Well, heck yeah it is! If you're looking for a quick, easy, good meal - here's one for you. Recipe calls for 4-6 chicken breast, but I only made 3 because of the size of our family! See below for full recipe. It may not look pretty, but it taste good!
Recipe:
4-6 Chicken Breast
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
2 cups frozen green beans
1/4 tsp dried thyme
1/2 cup water
shredded cheese
Preheat large skillet on medium heat. Season chicken breast with salt, pepper, and onion powder (I also put some parmesean herb seasoning on them). Place in skillet and cover. Cook for 7 mins on each side. Don't overcook them, but make sure they are done. Remove from pan. Pour in 1/2 cup water and cream of mushroom soup. Stir together and add 1/4 tsp dried thyme. Mix in 2 cups frozen green beans. Cover and cook for 7 minutes, stirring often. Replace chicken breast and top with shredded cheese, cover and cook for 1-2 minutes, until cheese melts. Then serve. Riley loved it! She ate all of the chicken (probably because of the cheese) and she ate all but two of her green beans.
